Hotel Policy
CANCELLATION:  24 Hours prior to check in day at 3:00 PM, penalty is first night rate plus tax.       
CANCELLATION THROUGH THIRD PARTIES: Any cancellation requests made from a guest that booked through a third party (Expedia, Booking, Priceline, ETC) need to be directed to the source in which they booked. We do not cancel third party reservations on a property level.
NO SHOW: 1st night charge plus tax.
GUARANTEE: A valid credit card is required to make a reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS.
INCIDENTALS: $100.00 pre-authorization will be held on the credit card that you provide at check in for incidentals. A valid credit card is required at the time of check in. NO CASH DEPOSITS.
LOCALS POLICY: We reserve the right to turn away guests on a case by case basis.
CREDIT CARDS: Only major credit cards accepted.
EXTRA PERSON CHARGES: $10/night for more than 2 adults. All children under age 17 stay free with responsible adult.
MINIMUM CHECK IN AGE: We will not accept reservations made by anyone under the age of 21. We reserve the right to turn away any guest trying to obtain a room for an occupant under 21 without an adult over the age of 21 residing in the same room. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation made through a third party by an occupant under the age of 21 even if the reservation has already been paid in full.
SMOKING FEE: We are a 100% smoke free property, any evidence of smoking in any non-designated area will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee. That fee will be charged to the credit card provided for incidentals.
PET FEE:  We are a not a pet friendly facility. A $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged as a penalty if the hotel finds any evidence of a pet being kept on the property. That fee will be charged to the credit card provided for incidentals.
SERVICE ANIMALS/ADA COMPLIANCE: We have 5 ADA accessible rooms located on the first floor for ease of access. We welcome all service animals with a medical purpose, Emotional Support Animals are not considered medically necessary for short term stays and will therefore be denied.
EARLY CHECK IN FEE: $20.00 Prior to 2:00 PM
LATE CHECK OUT FEE: $20.00/HOUR after 12:00 PM. At 3 PM we will charge the card on file for a full day at our current rate for that day.
WIFI: We offer free High-SpeedWiFi to all our guests, password will be provided to you at time of check in.
PARKING: Parking is free to all guests while they are staying on property.
CBD/CANNABIS: Although legal in MA for residential use - ABD/Cannabis is not allowed on the property.
Covid-19 Prevention

- After the initial deep cleaning, every room is inspected and sanitized a second time before being placed back into service.
- Focused 10 High-Touch Points Deep Clean will be practiced up on each check-out and inspection – Door Handles, TV remotes, Thermostats, Light Switches and more.
- TV remotes, we have upgraded every room with hospital grade clean remotes (no raised button) that are easy to sanitize.
- All bed linens & terry, including blankets and duvets are washed daily with a hospital grade sanitizing detergent.
- Every air-conditioners filter and controls are sanitized.
- Limited housekeeping service. To limit cross contamination, daily room service will be provided only upon request. Guests can always request fresh or extra room supplies (towels, soap, coffee, etc.).
- Common Areas: All common areas, including hallways and lobbies are disinfected multiple times daily.
- Primary Disinfectant: “Peroxide Multi-Surface Cleaner & Disinfectant” provided by ECOLAB. Also ECOLAB sanitizer dispensers will be placed in all common spaces.

Amenity Closures: Swimming Pools

- Communal areas like our game room is closed. Pool will be open for a limited time throughout the day.

Who are we?

The Tidewater Inn is family owned and has been serving visitors to Cape Cod for almost half a century! Centrally located in the heart of Cape Cod’s vacationland, we are minutes away from beaches, boating, fishing, golf, shopping and family friendly attractions. Situated on three and a half acres, we abut Mill Creek, a salt water estuary that meanders to Lewis Bay and Nantucket Sound.

The village of Hyannis, known as “Cape Cod’s Downtown”, is only a mile away and has over sixty unique shops, boutiques and galleries along its Main Street. Hyannis is also home to over 54 of the Cape’s finest restaurants, ranging from formal dining with entertainment, to informal family style establishments. They offer a wide range of fare to suit every appetite.

Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are only an hour away by boat! The modern, high-speed ferries of Hy-line Cruises and the Steamship Authority depart several times each day (seasonal) from Hyannis Harbor.
